Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account on beapr.com (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Beapr under the Information Technology Act 2000 and the rules made thereunder.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.
• You must be a resident, owner, tenant, or administrator of a registered society using Beapr.
• You must provide accurate, truthful information during signup. Providing false information (including false identity documents) may result in immediate account termination.

3. Account registration and approval

Account creation is subject to approval by your Society Administrator. You may be asked to upload proof-of-residence documents. Your account will remain in a “Pending Approval” state until the Society Administrator verifies your identity. Beapr is not responsible for delays in the approval process.

4. Permitted use

You may use the Platform to:

• View and pay maintenance invoices generated by your society
• Register and manage vehicles associated with your flat
• Read notices and announcements from your society
• Upload and manage your residential documents
• Manage family members linked to your account

5. Prohibited use

You must not:

• Attempt to circumvent authentication, rate limits, or security controls
• Upload malicious files, scripts, or content designed to harm other users or the Platform
• Impersonate another resident, administrator, or Beapr staff
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Platform without authorisation
• Resell or sublicense access to the Platform

6. Payments

Online payments are processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway. By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service.Beapr does not store your card details. Payment disputes must first be raised with your Society Administrator; if unresolved, you may contact Razorpay support.

7. Uploaded content

You retain ownership of documents you upload. By uploading, you grant Beapr and your Society Administrator a limited right to view and use those documents solely for the purpose of verifying your membership. Files are stored on Cloudflare R2 and are only accessible to authenticated users with appropriate permissions.

8. Termination

Your account may be deactivated by your Society Administrator at any time (e.g. if you vacate the flat). Beapr may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us at info@beapr.com.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation. We are not responsible for any loss arising from payment failures, data loss, or service downtime.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Beapr's aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total maintenance fees you have paid through the Platform in the preceding three months.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via the notice board inside the app at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
